Connection

2013 was a great year for KDTurner Design.  A ‘better-than-my-wildest-dreams’ sort of good, and I have so many truly wonderful colleagues and clients to thank for it.  The company grew so immensely and I learned so much that I shudder with excitement to think about what 2014 will bring.  So here I am on January 23 with a (very) long list of professional goals, but they all have one thing in common: connection.  My plan is to post regularly to my Facebook page, add entries to this blog, embrace speaking engagements (I already have one planned for April–yikes!), and reconnect with folks I haven’t heard from in a while.  So far so good: two new print ads are on news stands, an updated website is about to be launched, and here is post #1 to the blog!  If you are reading this (and I hope you are!) I’d love to hear from you.  I have a list of things I plan to write about: favorite plants, new products, design-ey stuff that’s in my head and I want to share with you…but I’d also love to hear what you want to read about.  Drop me a line and stay tuned!

  1. Kim- Nice site!
13 was a busy year for me too, my 13 year on my own. The wonderful world of wetlands remains challenging and interesting. No 2 jobs alike! Lots of Non native plant removal and restoration of Buffer Zones and some peer review work in addition to regualr permitting, delineation and environmental construction monitoring up on Rt 2 job kept me very very busy.
